Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation Announces New Board of Trustee Member

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Oct. 26, 2020) — The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation is pleased to announce Amanda Brown Lang, Puget Sound, as the newest member of the Foundation Board of Trustees.
“Amanda brings extensive financial experience and knowledge,” said Foundation President Susanne Wolff Vander Heyden, Washington State. “Her professional background combined with her Kappa volunteer work makes her a significant addition to our board. We are thrilled for her to continue contributing to our organization in this new role.”

Amanda is a senior vice president with Tiedemann Advisors, one of the largest independent investment and wealth advisers for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations and endowments. In addition to her professional expertise, she brings 16 years of Kappa volunteer experience, working with both chapters and alumnae associations.

Amanda joins 12 of her fellow Kappa sisters on the Foundation Board of Trustees, who together set the strategic vision for the Kappa Foundation. Since 1989, the Foundation — the philanthropic arm of Kappa — has supported educational programming, scholarships and emergency grants, and the preservation of Kappa’s 150-year history.
As of June 30, 2020, the Kappa Foundation endowment was $47 million. In the last fiscal year, the Foundation provided $1.4 million in educational and leadership programming, more than $756,000 to support Kappa’s history, about $414,000 in emergency relief grants, and over $2 million to 602 merit-based and need-based scholarship recipients, enabling Kappas to pursue their academic dreams.
